HIV Testing Initiatives
The California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center, in partnership with the National STD/HIV Prevention Training Centers (NNPTC) has assembled a host of resources for medical providers in California implementing routine HIV testing in a variety of practice settings. Additional resources will be available here soon. Below are links to national recommendations and resources developed by partner agencies.
Implementing routine HIV testing in your setting may seem daunting at first. The resources below will assist in implementation of the recommendations and understanding of recent changes in California law, and will provide you with some of the tools you will need to get started.
