MALE AND FEMALE GENITAL EXAM SKILLS on January 28, 2010, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in San Francisco is an optional skills-based training focusing on the male and female genital exam. Participants engage in experiential training with male and female teaching assistants. Designed for clinicians who will be using these skills in their clinical practice. EXAMINATION AND INTERPRETATION OF WET PREPARATIONS OF VAGINAL SPECIMENS on January 28, 2010, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in San Francisco is an optional course which presents issues of CLIA regulation, quality control, and infection control, a brief interpretation of VWM and application to diagnosis of vaginitis. The remainder consists of experiential training, including laboratory practicum on examination of saline and KOH vaginal wet mounts.
