This webinar is for clinicians providing care for persons with or at risk for STDs and/or clinicians and other staff working in health care settings that provide clinical care for persons with or at risk for STDs.

After this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the impact of STDs in the United States
  2. Discuss the role and importance or the 2010 STD Treatment Guidelines
  3. Identify two of the recommended treatment regimens for uncomplicated gonococcal infections of the cervix, urethra, and rectum
  4. Discuss antimicrobial resistance in gonorrhea and other STDs
  5. Identify one resource for additional training on STD prevention and treatment
