Fundamentals of STDs in Clinical Practice
Given once per year, usually in February, for clinicians desiring in-depth, comprehensive information on sexually-transmitted diseases, presented by our expert faculty and guest specialists. STDs commonly seen in clinical practice and issues relevant to diagnosis and treatment are addressed, as well as HIV prevention and testing, substance abuse, stigma, population disparities, pharmacology, domestic violence, and sexual-history taking. Recommended in conjunction with the Male and Female Genital Exam Skills, Examination & Interpretation of Wet Preparations of Vaginal Specimens, and/or a Clinical Preceptorship.
