STD Update for Clinicians - Brief
This training is intended for Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and other health professionals caring for patients with or at risk for STDs. Following this training, participants will be able to:
- Describe the clinical diagnosis, staging, treatment and ongoing management of syphilis.
- Summarize issues related to gonorrhea drug resistance and ensure appropriate treatment and follow up testing.
- Discuss STD screening recommendations for different populations including youth, gay men and HIV-infected clients.
This training will be held on Friday, September 19th from 11:00am-1:00 pm.
