STD/HIV Update for Educators

This one-day training is intended for educators who work with school-age youth. The STD/HIV Update training provides a more in depth look at STDs and HIV, including: trends, transmission, consequences, STD/HIV connection, the CA Education Code regarding HIV and sexuality education, and appropriate risk-reduction messages for school-age youth. Free access to STD/HIV-specific resources will be available through this training, including "STD 101 for Teens" PowerPoint and Making the Connection Between STDs and HIV Lesson Plans.

This training is approved for 6 CE (Nursing Contact Hours)

Priority registration will be given to individuals working in Orange County.

Participants are required to print their own course materials for this course.
