Same-day Placement of LARC: Solutions to Common Barriers

Many women are eligible for same-day placement of long acting reversible contraceptive methods.  In this webinar for family planning providers, participants will learn about clinical and provider level barriers to same-day placement and discuss strategies on how to successfully transition from a clinic visit to a placement visit.  Upon completion, participants will be able to:

• Describe bleeding changes with each LARC method
• Demonstrate familiarity with use of the US Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraceptive Use
• Discuss required testing prior to LARC placement
• Identify barriers and solutions to same day placement of LARC methods
